Today I want to play as the devil’s advocate role. Hate this or like it but truth be told and the truth will set us free. This special topic today has been in the limelight lately and many are victims of this. Church is a place of worship place where people with common belief come together to worship their supreme being. Do you know of a verse in the bible where God said their will come a time where we will look for a church and find none. Then, this time has come and we should get ready.
Pastors/preachers have been put into the nude about their evil deeds of conmanship.We have seen then asking for money in order to get blessings or special prayers with this famous mantra “panda mbegu” .Some of them are living a king lifestyle and you wonder where they got all this cash from. Without mentioning names, their churches have been turned into business centers i.e. by opening many branches across the country in the name of spreading the word of God.
It is with a heavy heart that I’m saying this that we even fight for power in our churches. House of worship has now turned into brothels.Who is blame? We have always blamed the men of God for our own mistakes. We dig our own graves yet we don’t see .This is why I don’t blame the preachers:
As a Christian we expect that you understand the Bible very well. There is no part that God said blessings, prayers are sold. Christians have allowed the devil to deceive them. How can a preacher ask for money yet you succumb to their offer. Later you will come to blame the preacher. God gave us the Holy Spirit to tell us what is good and bad, only that we don’t want to think. How can a preacher pray for your problems yet you have the power to pray in you. We want shortcuts to succeed in life…. Nothing comes easily.
From now i hope we will stop blaming the wrong people while we are the one to make our own choices. Fear GOD and always pray for yourself.
