Scarred Africa.

The world is moving and things are changing very fast. Culture and traditions is also loosing meaning according to the millennials who think selfishly that everything is about them, the future generation doesn’t linger into their minds forgetting that what they are doing now will definitely have an effect one day.

Africa, my mother land, culture and tradition has always given us identity and unity amongst us. This seems to be fading into the thick dark skies. The western culture has gotten itself rooted deeply into our soil. We no longer want to tell our stories because we want to look like the Europeans.

Our films are being influenced by outsiders. They want to include their rotten culture into our stories so as to propagate their agenda. This is happening because Africans we are not financially equipped in film making and our vulnerability is their opportunity. We also here about people calling for abortion to legalized the LGBT society also on the other side of the bench fighting for the rights. All this is getting bcking from foreign countries to an extent of being heavily funded to fuel the movement.

"The film Rafiki faced a big backlash in Kenya due to the content they were alleged to be showcased. Immediately this became a huge movie outside the country i.e Cannes film festival in France. This shows you the level you will be backed by rogue society for promoting their believes."

Colourism is another struggle for black Africans. People discriminating others for having  different skin tones. This has led to cyber bullying against dark skin people. Skin tone superiority for me , I take it as a slavery brainwash that was created to popularize white superiority. Africans should learn to embrace their colour and not allow their personal insecurities to take over.

Xenophobic attacks in the southern Africa are sickening. Killing a fellow African brother is not necessary to prove your anger or hate towards expatriates. This has brought shame in Africa since we are losing the meaning why we fought for independence in the first place. We as Africans are facing major challenges i.e lack of Jobs mostly for the youths and poor infrastructure. I believe we should share the small that we have.

Gone are the days we used to listen to our elders who were wiser than us. “An old man sitting on a three leged stool sees farther than a young man who is on top of a tree..” (kikuyu proverb). Its time to go back to the basics and ask question like where we went wrong.
